Step 1: Create Your NHBRC Online Profile

Step 2: Gather Required Documents
Before starting your application, ensure you have all the required, certified documents listed below.
Required Documents
- Valid CIPC registration certificate (for companies).
- Certified copies of ID or passports of all members/directors/partners/trustees. Must be certified within the last 3 months.
- If a member is not South African: certified passport and work permit required.
- Stamped bank letter confirming banking details or a cancelled cheque (not older than 3 months). No email printouts allowed.
- Proof of residence (not older than 3 months).
- Appointment letter of Technical Manager, including confirmation of technical ability and written acceptance of the appointment (if the Technical Manager is not a managing member).
- Trust resolution or Deed of Trust (Trusts only).
- Signed consent letter for credit check.
- Partnership agreement letter (Partnerships only).
- Constitution of Co-Operative (Co-Operative limited only).

Step 3: Pay the NHBRC Registration Fees

- Initial application fee: R745.61 (non-refundable, once off)
